Documentation of all sources used in research projects is important. You must give proper credit to the authors of any sources used. It is plagiarism if you do not give credit to the authors for their ideas or images.
Different citation styles may be used by different academic departments. At Woodward Academy the English department uses the MLA format. The Social Studies department uses Turabian or Chicago style.The Science department uses the APA style. There are different citation tools available to help generate citations in the proper format. The library recommends the use of NoodleTools which provides for citing in all three of these required styles.
