Adding Sources in NT

Steps to Add Sources to your project:

  1. Click on the title of your Project to take you to the Sources screen
  2. Click on                              on the upper right side of the screen
  3. Click the type of source under "Where is it?

For Books:  Choose the format Print or eBook--

  • For "Print or in-hand": Use the ISBN search short cut or fill out the template with the information from the book's Title Page
  • For "eBook": use the citation tool in the eBook database

 

Print Book Directions:  

1. After clicking the                              button, select where you found the source:

2. Select Book unless you use an essay in a collection then choose Anthology/Collection.

3. Fill out the template, or use the ISBN short cut.  Enter the ISBN # from the back or copyright page, search, select, and import.

 

4. Highlight the result then click the Import Button:

For Database Articles: 1. Use the Export to NoodleTools feature 2. Search the DOI 3. Use the Copy/Paste shortcut 4. Fill out the template.

For Websites, choose the closest type of material from the source list:

Open the web page in a new window and fill out the template:
