Final Paper and Project Overview

Research Purpose: To compile your topic research into a succinct paper and project, focusing on  your individual topic across the three religious traditions you have studied throughout the semester.

Final Paper Research Requirements: 

Paper length, number and type of sources required--

    EP:

  • minimum of 6-7 pages
  • minimum of 10 sources, including: 
    • 6 scholarly (one book), 3 primary, and 1 news article from 2021-2023
  • only .org, .com, and .edu sources linked from the Religion LibGuide are acceptable

    HP:

  • minimum of 7-8 pages
  • minimum of 12 sources
    • 7 scholarly (one book), 4 primary, and 1 news article from 2021-2023

Citations-- 

  • All papers must include footnotes in proper Chicago/Turabian Notes/Bibliography format
  • All sources and citations must be organized in NoodleTools
  • An Annotated Bibliography will be  turned in as the first research assignment
  • Works Cited pages are not required for short essays
  • A combined Works Cited page (in alphabetical order, not annotated) is required with your final paper
