What is a library database?
A library database is a searchable electronic index of reliable resources.
Library databases provide access to a wealth of useful research materials from reference books, journals, magazines, and newspapers. The information found in library databases is either originally created or comes from a variety of reliable sources.
Library databases are not available for free online. The information found in library databases is sometimes called the "deep web" or "hidden web" because they must be accessed through a paid subscription.
