Research Purpose: To provide an opportunity for students to conduct in-depth exploration of a diversity challenge facing America today. Using this research, students will write a paper and prepare an oral presentation. The project will focus on a crucial theme from the course, as seen through the lens of a literary work, film, issue, or theory from outside this course.
