Research Purpose: To study and research a topic in political economics in order to write a substantive paper and to prepare an oral presentation analyzing and explaining your position on the topic.

Paper length and number of sources required--
- EP: minimum 5-6 pages, minimum 6 sources
- HP: minimum 6-7 pages, minimum 7 sources
Citations--
- Use Chicago/Turabian Notes/Bibliography style for footnotes and citations
- An annotated bibliography is required for Assignment #1
- All papers must include a bibliography in proper Chicago/Turabian style
- NoodleTools is recommended
Types of sources--
- Include nonfiction books, articles, reference material from library databases and websites
- No general encyclopedias, Wikipedia, or ASK.com
