Option 2: Sign in to your Woodward GMail account or Google Drive. Look under the Google "waffle" menu button on the upper right corner of the screen. Scroll down and click the NoodleTools button.

Web Site Citation Example

Website

Because websites are subject to change, include an access date and, if available, a date that the site was last modified.

Here are the elements you need for a website citation in Turabian:

Author's last name, First name. "Title of Article/Page." Title of Web Site. Last

modified Month Day, Year. Accessed Month Day, Year. URL/Web Address.

NoodleTools Steps

Create a new project:

Step #1: On the Project page, click on the green + New Project button in the upper right corner.

Step# 2: Select a Citation Style: APA is used for Science

Step# 3: Select a Citation Level (Junior is fine for most projects.) 

Step#4: Click Submit

If your teacher wants you to share your project with their Inbox, follow these steps from your Projects page:

Steps to Add Sources to your project:

  1. Click on the title of your Project to take you to the Sources screen
  2. Click on                              on the upper right side of the screen
  3. Click the type of source under "Where is it? 

For Databases: Use Export to NT, Search DOI, or the Copy/Paste shortcut. 

For eBooks:  eBooks use the Export to NT, Search DOI, or Copy/Paste shortcut. 

For Print Books: Click ISBN and enter the ISBN # from the back or copyright page, search, select, and import

For Websites:  Open the NT template for websites and fill in as completely as possible

 

Steps to creating a notecard:

  1. Open your Project.
  2. From the Sources page, click in the Notecards column to the right of your source and a notecard will be linked to this source:

  1. Open your Project in NoodleTools.
  2. Go to your Sources page:

3. Click on the Print/Export button in the tool bar on the upper right.

4. Select Print /Export to Google Docs:

5. Open in Google Docs and copy/paste to final document​. Or, click Share to share with your teacher electronically.
